• Chairman of the Institute of Modern Dong-ba Painting and Calligraphy

His paintings have been displayed several times at home and abroad and spread among tens of countries. He won the second prize in the first Chinese Genre Painting Contest in 1989, and in 1992 won a special prize in the Chinese painting & calligraphy of Canada's international "Male Leaf Honor." The same year, he was invited to hold and exhibition in Reunion island of France. The exhibition was in the news of many newspapers and art magazines. He published "The Aesthetically Features of Modern Dongba Painting School" and won a prize for achievements in Yunnan social science. In 1997, he won a golden medal in The 3rd Chinese Minorities' Art Exhibition.
