The Living NaXi Pictograph Language

The NaXi pictograph Language is the only living pictographic script
in the world. DongBaWen Script (traces on wood and stone) is a
living fossil of a primitive pictographic script. The major portion
of the Ancient DongBa Manuscripts were written in this script. Most of
the 1,400 pictograms have their, individual though not distinct, phonic
prescription. Some are multi-syllabic phrases. It is a true link
between painted art and written script.

GeBaWen Script (read according to the written form) is a syllabic script.
Each of the 600 pictograms is a simplified or stylized DongBa symbol used
mainly as phonic symbols or in denotations.

YuanKeWen and MaSaWen Scripts are selected symbols from the DongBa pictograms
with limited applications, used mainly to enhance the phonic fluidity.
